Perfect for Fishing Breaks
If you’re looking to combine fishing with a relaxing getaway, our lodges provide the perfect base. With lakes just a few steps from your door, as a lodge guest you can enjoy fishing from your lodge as little or as much as you like, with no time restrictions, all included in your stay. Please note: fishing from other lakes are subject to normal ticket prices and rules.
Our lakes are stocked with a variety of species including carp (to and around 36lb), Perch, Tench, Roach Chub, Bream and Pike, providing excellent course fishing.

The lodges are situated in the heart of our park, offering both privacy and easy access to our on-site facilities, including the Café by the Lake, where you can enjoy a delicious meal after a successful day’s fishing.
Book Your Fishing Lodge
Our two newest lodges Iris and Lily are of contemporary design and offer a bright and airy accommodation, with stunning views across the South-Eastern end of Sumners Lake.
Cosy Moorhen and Grebe lodge are traditional Norwegian log cabins, which are also situated on the South-Western and North-Western end of the Sumners Lake, with lovely views across the water.
Each of the four lodges have their own wooden deck where you can enjoy the views overlooking the water. All four of the lodges are light and spacious, tastefully furnished and fully equipped to a high standard. Use of electric and gas is inclusive as well as bed linen for all beds. Towels are provided in all Lodges. Guests will need to bring their own washing up liquid, bin bags etc.
Two well-behaved dogs are welcome in any of our lodges at a charge of £26 each per week.
Check-in times are from 4pm and check-out is by 10am.
Fishing permits are not required to fish from the decking of your lodge. Permits are only required when fishing elsewhere on the campsite. The fishing area allocated to the lodge is suitable for a maximum of 2 anglers fishing at a time.
Please note: fishing licenses are still required from the environment agency for all anglers.
All our Lodges have specific occupancy allowances, if guests have visitors not booked into their accomodation, this MUST be cleared with the Bookings Team at Reception.
