COVID-19 Sumners Ponds Fishery

Following on from further information given by the Government and advice from the Angling Trust. The fishery is now open to Members and Day Tickets (Purchased Online ONLY) in a limited capacity.

To help us protect our customers and staff we have created an online booking service for purchasing Day Tickets. Our hope is that this will reduce unnecessary contact between our staff and customers.

Anyone under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

For the importance of your safety and our own, we must stress that you only visit if you intend to fish and are expecting to pay as an angler. ONLY ONE SPECTATOR permitted subject to government guidance.

Fishing Day Tickets are now available for ONLINE PURCHASE ONLY. The “Buy A Day Ticket” link can be found on the fishing pages of our website; www.sumnersponds.co.uk/fishing

Once you have set up your account, you will be able to purchase 1 Day Ticket, per person, per day of the week. Upon completion of your booking you will receive both a booking receipt and confirmation email (This may appear in your spam or junk folder). We kindly ask that you have this ready for display.

Please keep in mind that this is a new service and you may experience some teething issues. Exciting additional features are yet to come, such as memberships, equipment hire and special offers.

ENTRY: 7:00 - 12:00 mid day. After which the gates will be closed to any late arrivals.

CLOSING: 5:00pm. After which gates will be locked.

In accordance with these temporary measures, all anglers must be packed up and ready to vacate the premises by 5:00pm at the very latest.

As part of our strategy, we regret to say we will have to be insistent that anglers exercise social distancing and are considerate to others around them and staff alike. Strict and unequivocal adherence to our normal rules (to be found on our website) is a necessity.

In particular, there will be zero tolerance to any littering whatsoever. No car is to park beyond the designated car parks unless displaying a blue badge, and any form of antisocial behaviour will not be tolerated. Any such incident will result in the offenders being asked to leave immediately.

Anyone under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our wonderful customers for their understanding.
