If you’ve not heard of camping pods before, then we’re here to tell you all about them and why they’re a great staycation!
In short, camping pods are a more back-to-basic form of glamping. When staying in one of Sumners Ponds’ pods, you will get lockable double doors, carpeted flooring, an electric heater, lighting, and the use of a double socket.
Because it’s more back to basics than our other glamping accommodation, you will need to bring your own bedding, including a mattress or camp bed, cooking equipment, and anything else you may need for your staycation!
We love this kind of stay as you will always be cosy, and you won’t have to pack a tent away at the end of your visit!
With each pod, you will also get a small decking area, with a picnic table, which can be used as a seating and cooking area. And, the Lakeside Pods include an exclusive swim for fishing! The use of the shower blocks and electricity is also included.
